Mrs DAVIES
Had to get George ready for football! Was a bit scared of the distance / pace anyway.Only doing turbo trainer intervals 4x a week. They're only 30-60min, I have to learn to ride longer again! In fact how to balance a push bike and pedal!
Sean Barker
A most enjoyable B Run today as I met up with Chris Thompson, and Hannah at Rednal and then picked up Tim Brueton at Tardebigge then followed the route posted above to Stourport. At the café Chris Kent and Derek Barton were waiting and soon thereafter Saracens were piling in from all directions. On the return journey we saw Ivor getting in a few miles in the afternoon sun Not sure what happened to the A Group, perhaps someone can fill us in. Today’s Saracens at the café were Sean Barker Hannah Smith Chris Kent Chris Thompson John Shelly Pete Cooper Tim Brueton Derek Barton Dave Mitchell Mandy Mitchel Phil Carbutt
Sean Barker
It was suggested by Dave Mitchell some time back that we should have a database of club runs. Today’s route was enjoyed by the B group and as such has been saved and will now become the first ride on the new database that will grow throughout the the coming months. Speedy Kev
A ride report for the A group - 25/1/15 Lee de Grey single speed coffee and cake and Medjool dates Mike Hazlewood geared chocolate cake O Hazlewood single speed beans and bacon on toast Kevin Young geared beans on toast Kevin Sargent single speed coffee and cake. With a chill wind, and a nagging breeze, we made our way to the "Chicken Farm " at Honeybourne. Hazlewood senior was the chief route maker. a rolling route (just over 1000m ascent) ridden at a brisk ( but friendly) pace. Awesome day out!!
