Mick Hazlewood
As the time trialing season draws to end I rode my last 25 ml TT of the year up on a new course for me the J5/8 which is on the A50 between Stoke and Uttoxeter. The course has a wicked sting in the tail, at the 20 mile distance It has a long drag upwards which has a nick name of the concrete mountain which goes on for 3 and a half miles. Fortunately on Saturday there was a tail wind for the last 5 miles to the finish so It didn't have to much effect on my performance. I was hoping to finish off the season on a high but only achieved A time of 59.04 some 8 secs slower than last weekend which is my 10th ride under the hour this year. Just have a couple of 10's to finish of the year and maybe a 50 Mile event ( Welsh National Champs ) at the end of September. It's been a long season. Sean Barker
Ten 25's all under the hour is a really impressive statistic. Absolute respect Mike. Careful you don't overdo it at the tail-end of the season though Mike, the last thing you need now is an illness due to exhaustion.
