Some of the roads were a little too rough and in my opinion posed an unnecessarily high risk for the safety of the cyclists. I have updated the route sheet and gps file on the Audax UK website, so if you have the old one please replaces it with the new one. When I got back from holidays on Tuesday I had a number of requests to enter the Audax so I decided to add another ten places to the event and sent off for the brevet cards. The next day I had four cancellations so that left fourteen places that I would make available on the day. But I have had ten people request that I reserve a place for them so that just leaves four places left that I will issue on a first come first served basis on the morning of the event.
