Thank you, everyone who helped at the scene and for all the good wishes after I took a tumble yesterday. Apart from a sore shoulder I'm fine. My head took the brunt of the fall, so That saved me from something more serious.

Thanks for a superb ride and here's to the next one. Alan.

Another great Saracen Audax.

We had the weather and all sixty six starters returned to the café safely. What more could you ask for?

All I heard all day from our riders was positive and complimentary. This was in no small part due to all the effort put in by the team, so to that end can I just take this opportunity to thank the following,

Our magnificent duo of Hilary and Edwina who really set the scene and make everyone feel welcome.

Dave and Judy who took care of the control at Charlecote.

Julie and her staff who as always took wonderful care of us all.

The staff at Charlcote.

Chris Pardoe and Kevin Sargent our on the road photographers.

And especially to all the riders who made the event so special.

Here are some additional photos

Many thanks to Sean, Hilary, Ed, David & Judith, Julie & all of her staff for enabling this brilliant almost incident-free event to take place on a SUPERB SPRING SUNDAY!

On a more personal note special thanks to Leigh for his company, inspiration & encouragement without which I wouldn't have got round!!!

Yes a great day and good pictures thanks to those who did all the organisation but can't believe no one has mentioned Kevin Rogers who was rearing to go after recovering from his bad back who forgot his shoes and helmet but he did get a ride in but on his own what a shame he missed a good day.

And a special thanks to Mr Speedy Shelley and Mr Pictures Pardoe for looking after Bev and I and sitting on the front for the majority of the way Xx
