  9. Sean, I've only just seen this thread, The end cap is used to pre-load the bearing, the round plastic tool allows a very very small torque to be applied using your fingers before clamping the two crank arm pinch bolts. Should you need the installation checking, don't hesitate to call in as I have all the workshop tools for fitting and removal of b/bkt, crank arm and a torque wrench for torques as low as 7.5 Nm. Alan.
  10. Happy Birthday Ann. Hope you've had a brill day. Lots of love from Alan and Ann.

  14. Update for Club runs on Sunday 28th May. Well It looks as though we will be blessed with good weather this weekend which will make for a change. We are still aiming for everyone to meet at 9.30 - 9.45 and be leaving for 10 ish. Having spoken to a number of riding members who are coming I think there will be 3 groups covering various distances ranging from approx 25 to 50 miles.. Kevin Young has sorted a route out for A/B group which will cover around 50 miles. Food back at base will probably be served/available from 1.00 o'clock onwards and anyone who wishes to bring along food that I have not spoken to, sweets would be welcome. Parking is available on Bournheath Rd which is a very very short walk to my house. Mick H.

  19. Managed to catch up with the Bs at Warwick. They had already sorted out the table arrangements when I arrived. Must have a word with Michelle if a colour combination of Orange & Red are acceptable. Bev refuses to accept any responsibility. Plenty of dirty plates and empty tea pots. All present and ready to go after a trip to the Loo. Not many in the main square. Showed the group a nice short cut up Fordehall Lane back of Ullenhall on the way home much appreciated by all. John Shelley leads the way. Bev in full flight the full English has given her plenty of strength. Chris T taking the advice.I give to Michelle don't look up. Then speeds by. Moira don;t like hills.

  25. Note! All runs will start from Mick Hazlewoods house on Sunday 28th May Start 10 o'clock ish. We will finish there for a club gathering as his message below of May 3rd states. All welcome riders and non riders. The Saracen committee have discussed having a Summer Social event with clubs runs meeting and leaving my house in Fairfield and then returning for Food and Drinks at my house in the afternoon. All Saracens are welcome both riding and non riding members where they can enjoy catching up with each other at a non formal occasion. There can be 2 runs which will cater for all levels of fitness with a distance of between 20 - 60 miles approx. Hopefully this will be well supported and any help with the food preparations appreciated. Hopefully the weather will be kind for us but there will be plenty of uncover shelter as I will erect a small a marque in the garden. I think PUDDINGS would be appreciated. Spread the word.
